This model reflects Robert Godin’s long-standing philosophy of combining traditional build quality with practical, player-focused design.

Built with a solid cedar top, the AMI Cedar produces a warm, open, and responsive tonal character with excellent sensitivity to fingerstyle dynamics and lighter strumming. The top is pressure-tested to enhance rigidity and improve overall resonance, resulting in strong harmonic vibration and a lively, balanced acoustic response.

The back and sides are constructed from three-ply wild cherry laminate, offering durability and tonal consistency while contributing to a focused midrange and clear projection. The compact body design makes it comfortable to play while still delivering impressive volume for its size.

The neck is crafted from silver leaf maple and paired with a rosewood fingerboard, providing a smooth, familiar playing surface with reliable stability.
