This is a vintage 1970’s AF-100 Bee Baa pedal with two wild fuzz circuits and a treble boost which can be engaged individually or together. Roland built these in Japan from 1972 to 1979.
Often imitated but never truly recreated, the Roland AF-100 BeeBaa Fuzz & Treble Booster is a monolith of the effects world. A fan favourite of the 1970s, the BeeBaa is immediately recognisable for its hard steel chassis and snarling, unapologetic fuzz assault. Built on a three-switch design between, bypass, fuzz, and treble boost with a separate tone selector, this is the crown jewel of any fuzz aficionado’s collection.
Very similar to a super fuzz with a tone selector – just hit it with your foot to go from a fat, deep growl to a screaming bite. Sounds great as a treble boost too.
A real rarity in good condition – cosmetic presentation is that of a pedal dating from the early to mid 70s. Undisturbed inside & sounds incredible.
Comes in its original cardboard box.
