From Martin –
“The warm tones of mahogany pair beautifully with this small-bodied Orchestra guitar. The OMC-15ME is an acoustic-electric cutaway featuring solid mahogany top, back and sides and an East Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The sleek modified low oval neck with a Performing Artist taper allows for greater ease when playing up and down the fretboard. The Fishman® Prefix Plus electronics complete this model to give you the tone you fell in love with in the first place.”

This guitar was hand picked by its one owner back in 2006 after an exhaustive search for “the right one”. Owned by a pro player & teacher since new, this lovely smaller bodied Martin has been well cared for.
Although it has primarily been played in teaching or studio settings, it features a fab sounding Fishman pickup system which accurately amplifies the excellent acoustic sound of this guitar.
That sound is best describes as having articulate highs, punchy midrange and just enough in the low end without being boomy. And it plays really well – very comfortable medium low action with no dead spots.
The pickguard and surrounding area shows some pick wear as does some of the lower rosette – see pics. There are some very light impressions on the back, but nothing you’d call “buckle rash”.
Plenty of fret life left, no structural issues, and well set up, this guitar more than holds its own against many higher priced instruments.
Comes in its original Martin hard case in excellent condition.
