In case you’re not familiar with Joseph Knaggs, you may have seen his signature on the back of a PRS Private Stock instrument. He was previously the director of PRS R & D and the company’s Private Stock division, before 2009 when he branched out to form his own company with its own unique designs. They are all individually hand crafted, with no mass production. The subsequent market success of the Knaggs company speaks for itself.
The Keya model features a mahogany set neck design, a mahogany body and carved maple top, two humbuckers and Knaggs’ proprietary Influence hard-tail bridge, designed to allow for increased string vibration and sustain. This is a fabulous 2012 Knaggs Keya Tier 2 flame top, with an Aged Scotch gloss finish, rosewood fretboard and dot inlays.

This stunningly beautiful T-2 Keya is the 157th one made. It has been sparsely played, mainly in a studio setting, and has no fret wear. There is some very light pick swirling below the strings, almost impossible to see. Apart from that, this guitar presents as new. No dings, dents, marks or any other issues.
This particular guitar has had its original Seth Lover humbuckers swapped out for a set of Lindy Fralin’s PAF Pro Humbuckers, and they sound great in every way.
Comes in its superb rectangular Knaggs hardshell case in new condition.
