This is an extremely well built 1962 reissue Stratocaster (Model ST62-TX) from the craftsmen at Tokyo’s legendary Fuji-Gen factory. These are the guys who built replicas of American vintage instruments when Fender did not have enough manufacturing capacity in USA in the early to mid 1980s. Their work became legendary worldwide for their attention to detail that left their USA counterparts more than envious at the time.
So here’s a fine 26 year old with stunning looks that happens to play beautifully and sounds excellent. The classic single coil pickups have that characteristic Strat twang and sparkle as expected. It is finished in stunning Candy Apple Red with a rosewood slab fingerboard and 3 ply pickguard.

The neck is clean and straight. It is a pleasure to play with its medium C shape and low action.
This is a fine example of a nice Japanese made 90s Stratocaster. The guitar plays & sounds great. Tuners are solid, intonation has been nicely set and truss rod work perfectly. A well priced alternative to its Fender USA counterparts.
