This guitar’s one owner built it as a “labour of love”, seeking out the best of the best to deliver his bespoke version of a Clapton Strat. And the results are mighty good. Plays and sounds fantastic. The David Allen pickups are a revelation. The quality of the Fender parts cannot be questioned, the hardware is top notch, and the workmanship is outstanding.
The project was overseen by Luke Parry of Northern Beaches Guitar Repair in Sydney. Luke does a lot of work for us here at PREMIER GUITARS in Sydney, and his work is that of a dedicated technician striving for the absolute best possible results.
Luke also fitted a hand carved bone nut and did a great overall setup to allow this guitar to really sing.
It should be noted that this Clapton style Strat does NOT feature Clapton’s regular TBX tone circuit with active electrics and 25db boost. This one is all standard Strat wiring.
But in our opinion, it’s not needed – this one has a character, feel and tone all of its own.
Comes in a quality fitted case in new condition.
