Since 1987, the Fender Custom Shop has been a “dream factory,” producing guitars that are to playing what Ferraris are to driving. The skilled craftsmen in Fender’s Corona, California Custom Shop are known worldwide for their artistry in making guitars that range from the fine to the fantastic. Whether it’s building a new custom instrument from the ground up or modifying an existing one, their best is the best – Fender’s finest.
This particular guitar has Closet Classic simulated ageing, meaning it has light checking and slightly less sheen to the glossy finish to give it a slightly more broken-in feel.

This 57 Strat Reissue from Fender Custom Shop is an accurate recreation of an original 1957 Strat, albeit it with a 5 way selector switch. It does not feature any modern stylistic updates such as featured on Fender’s Postmodern series reissues. It maintains the original neck profile, vintage width frets and 50s wind pickups. It gets you mighty close to an original spec ’57 without breaking the bank.
It has been lightly used and well looked after. The Closet Classic light relic nitro finish is subtle and realistic. The metal is deliberately lightly tarnished, and the whole thing feels like an old instrument that has been played in. Frets are fine & everything works perfectly. And it plays great and sounds sweet.
Comes with Certificate Of Authenticity, tags, warranty papers & ashtray bridge cover, enclosed in its original Fender CS tweed case in as new condition.
