In 1954, Gibson introduced the first Les Paul Junior. At that time, it had a retail price of US$120 and proved to be a very successful model. With its single pickup, simplified controls, flat top, and distinctive tone, it made the Les Paul model affordable to every guitarist.
Back around 2010 Epiphone reissued this classic Junior design with many of the same great features that made it so popular. And this one has a few nice upgrades.
From Epiphone –
“The LP Junior features Epiphone’s SlimTaper neck profile that’s both fast and comfortable to play. To add bite as well as stability, the neck is made of hard maple and bolted to a select mahogany body. The fingerboard is made of solid rosewood for smooth, long-lasting performance and is fitted with 22 medium-jumbo frets.
Like all Epiphones, the headstock is angled at 14 degrees to provide excellent downward string pressure on the nut without the use of string-tree or gadgets that can cause tuning problems. To provide further tuning stability and accuracy, the Junior features deluxe 14:1 covered machine heads. For accurate intonation, the vintage-style wrap-around Stopbar Bridge has adjustment screws at each post. For long-lasting performance and playability, an adjustable truss rod inside the neck allows for neck relief adjustment. Other features include nickel plated hardware and a “Limited Edition” logo on the back of the headstock.”

This very nice Epi LP Jr was upgraded for its owner by a respected Sydney guitar technician, using only high quality parts to achieve an excellent end result. Using a very good base platform, he has added some choice upgrades in the pickup, tuners & bridge to create a player that you can play all night long.
Strap this on and we defy you to take it off. You can play the entire gig with this one, even with one pickup – you’ll be surprised how versatile a well made single P-90 pickup can be. And Lollars are about as good as you can get.
Great build, great result, great player. A winner for not much $$$
Comes as is – no case or bag.
