Gibson Custom Shop Trini Lopez - USA 2009

The Gibson Trini Lopez is a signature model guitar initially designed in collaboration with musician Trini Lopez in the 1960s. Introduced in 1964, the guitar featured a distinct double-cutaway semi-hollow body, diamond-shaped F-holes, and a unique headstock design.

The Trini Lopez model gained popularity for its stylish design and versatile tonal capabilities, appealing to a broad range of players. Gibson produced various versions of the Trini Lopez throughout the 1960s and early 1970s.

Here we have the 2009 Gibson Custom Shop Trini Lopez Reissue – a revival of the iconic signature model, featuring the distinctive factory stoptail configuration.

In excellent condition, this guitar retains its factory stock specifications. The finish boasts enduring elegance, displaying very little signs of wear. The neck, frets, and fretboard showcase the meticulous craftsmanship of the Gibson Custom Shop, leaving an indelible mark of excellence.

Both plastics and hardware exhibit durability, and electrically, the guitar remains in its original state. There are some light scratches on the top from pickwear, the metal hardware has tarnished nicely with plenty of vintage feel and the strap pin has been moved from the heel to the upper horn of the body (see photos).
