Players sang and still sing - its praises, citing the ES-137 Classics great feel and gorgeous appearance, as well as its astonishing sonic versatility, from the smooth, round, clean tones required for old-school jazz to the snarl and distortion of cutting edge rock.'

This 2009 Gibson ES-137 Classic presents in excellent shape. It shows little wear at all, with hardly a mark on its pristine 'Light Burst' finish. The body is crafted from laminated curly maple, featuring a mahogany centre block designed to reduce feedback and add sustain. The maple neck is smooth and comfortable to play, while the multiple-bound body on top and single-bound back add a touch of elegance. The rosewood fingerboard is also bound and adorned with pearloid trapezoid inlays and a distinctive "C" inlay at the 12th fret.

It’s equipped with two volume controls, two tone controls, and a 3-way switch, offering a range of tonal possibilities. The Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop tailpiece ensures stable tuning and intonation. The pickups consist of a 490R in the rhythm position and a 498T in the treble position, delivering that classic Gibson sound. Housed in a sturdy Gibson hardshell case, this ES-137 Classic is ready for gigs, studio sessions, or just jamming at home.
