This particular Philson is the Custom D-18 Cocobolo - a feast for the senses, this guitar features cocobolo headstock, back and sides, a solid spruce top with abalone binding all around the body, headstock, soundhole and Vietnamese rosewood fretboard. Flame maple binding pairs beautifully with the abalone around both the top and back of the body. The neck is crafted from mahogany, and the pickguard and bridge are both Vietnamese rosewood. The intricate abalone headstock and fretboard inlay is a highlight, finishing off this guitar nicely.
