As one of the most sought after V’s, this Limited Edition Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Flying V-M in a natural mahogany finish is a fabulous sounding instrument and a delight to play.
Sporting a beefy mahogany neck & lightweight and highly resonant mahogany body, this is serious rock machine. It screams raw power and TONE. It is in excellent, virtually new condition.
The full, one-piece mahogany neck with cream side-dots sports a beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. The sophisticated neck joint is in itself a thing of beauty – just like the original 58 & 59 Vs.
The Gibson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16″ nut width; 24 3/4″ scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
This is a great player with looks to match. There is virtually no visible player wear, and weighing in at a flyaway 6.2 lbs, this V is a sweet thing to play – light and comfortable, with sustain to burn and ready to rock.
Comes in its original hardshell fitted case along with original hang tags & paperwork, including Gibson Custom Certificate of Authenticity.
