The Fender Custom Shop 1963 Relic Telecaster takes you back to the early years of one of modern music’s most electrifying decades. Its alder body comes in 3-Colour Sunburst, lacquer relic finish, with signature Telecaster snap and sparkle coming from dual American Vintage Telecaster pickups with 3-way switching and Fender’s Greasebucket tone circuit, which rolls off highs without reducing gain.
This one is from Fender’s revered CS Time Machine series – a true replication of a 60s Fender classic.

This guitar is in excellent, unused condition, apart from being given the fabulous relic treatment by Fender Custom Shop. It has a very pretty quarter sawn maple neck with lovely figuring and fantastic feel. It plays well in all positions, and sounds like a classic vintage Tele should – lots of snappy tops, and fat mid range punch that will cut through when you need it.
There is no perceptible player wear on this guitar – it presents pretty much as straight off the bench, with all the hallmarks of the Fender Custom Shop’s attention to detail and determination to create a vintage reissue with the feel and flavour of an early 60s classic.
This one comes with lots of case candy, including an unused vintage cable, cleaning cloth, swing tags, stickers and Certificate of Authenticity.
Comes in original Fender brown tolex G & G case in new condition.
